Hello again!  Since we are well into the holiday season, I’m happy to share Patterns for Pirates‘ second free pattern – a slouchy hat.  Get it here!

Another quick and dirty sew, I whipped up 3 of these in under an hour.  The cutting process only takes about 5 minutes, sewing maybe 10 minutes.  I sew pretty slowly, so I bet you could do even more than that if you need to crank out some holiday gifts which are cute and unique.

For this one I used a scrap of sweater knit, and rayon/spandex french terry for the cuff.  (I actually gifted this one already…haha.)  I made also one in all french terry, and another with cotton lycra and french terry band. The pattern comes with four size options; these can also be made for men and kids.  But I only have pictures of this one since those may or may not be gifts too. 🙂

Our landlord puts up these cute ornaments in this tree each year, so I couldn’t resist a few pictures here too. 🙂
