August 4, 20182 Comments

As soon as I saw the pretest photos and line drawing for the new P4P So Classic Sundress, I knew it had to be done with gingham.  And it did not disappoint!  Also, can I get a prize for doing 16 functioning buttons / button holes at 11PM and NOT messing any up?! I did test … Continue reading So Classic Sundress

How can you resist such a combination?!  I know I couldn't when I saw this fabric from Raspberry Creek.  It took me a couple weeks to decide what to make but I finally chose the Favorite Tee and I'm glad I did! As you can see, I decided to color block this one.  This was … Continue reading Watermelons and Polkadots!

I can't believe July is already over!  And here I am blogging about the July BeeBox from Vinegar and Honey.  I received the BeeBox the day before I went out of town two weekends in a row, so I wasn't able to sew it up until after I got back, yesterday.  However!  This one is … Continue reading July BeeBox – VHCO

It's pattern release day again!  This time it's the Cross My Heart Cami.  I love these days, especially if I've been able to test the pattern prior to the release.  It's so fun to see all the testers' garments and then exciting waiting to see for what everyone else starts to sew up! This boy is definitely a snuggly one these days! He was always so squirmy and unsettled as a baby, it’s still surprising when he is like this now.
It’s been a while, but hopefully my “sewjo” has returned for the time being. The past few months have been very rough for a few reasons but...sewing is at the top of my self care list and so I’m trying to make it a priority! Easier said than done.
We painted our porch a neutral color after ripping out the carpet, and I realized I accidentally made myself a great photo “studio”. 👏🏻🤷🏻‍♀️
Sewing a cardigan when it’s 95F seems kinda weird, but not really when I can never have too many @grainlinestudio Driftless cardigans...with the perfect @raspberrycreekfabrics french terry. 😍
Obviously he loves snuggles. 😂
How is he so big?! For some reason this @lowlandkids Placket Romper makes him look like a legit toddler. I guess that’s because he is, but im pretty sure that’s not allowed. 😭
